Liberia Network Operators Group (LrNOG): A WAICTANet Initiative for ICT Capacity Building.
Liberia’s foremost technical capacity-building and human networking activity for ICT personnel/professionals and other Internet stakeholders. In its maiden edition in 2025, the workshops will enable collaboration and sharing of experience within the Liberian communication technology ecosystem.
Is a forum for cooperation and the exchange of technical information between operators of Internet-connected networks in Liberia.
The Liberia Network Operators Group (LrNOG), a new initiative under the West African ICT Action Network (WAICTANet), is established to foster cooperation and knowledge exchange among operators of Internet-connected networks in Liberia. Modeled after successful regional and global Network Operators Groups (NOGs), such as the African Network Operators Group (AfNOG), LrNOG aims to address Liberia’s unique ICT challenges by building a robust community of network engineers and promoting technical capacity development. This initiative draws inspiration from global efforts to enhance Internet infrastructure through localized training and collaboration, ensuring sustainable growth in Liberia’s digital ecosystem.
